Vietnam's tiny satellite launcher enters the universe
From the launch of Tanegashima, Japan, Pico Dragon of Vietnam and 3 US satellites, Kiboro robot (Japan) is launched into space by Kounotori missiles at 2h48 on 4/8 (Vietnam time).
Pico Dragon micro-satellite is researched and manufactured by the National Satellite Center, under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Pico Dragon has dimensions of 10 x 10 x 11.35cm, weight about 1kg.
This micro-satellite is completely designed and assembled by Vietnamese engineers and completed 3 years ago.
Pico Dragon is responsible for taking photos, measuring temperature and sending parameters to the center on Earth. Before being launched into space, Pico Dragon satellites are retaining the ISS station for inspection.
