Watch the meteor shower peak on August 13
According to IMO (International Meteorological Organization), one of the biggest meteor showers in the year will reach the peak of the morning of August 13.
Every year, the Perseids meteor shower takes place from January 17 to August 24 when the dust cloud cuts across Earth's orbit, reaching a peak between 12 / 8-13 / 8, one can count on average. 100 meteors in an hour at ideal places of observation, when meteor peaks with the focus of starting meteor near the constellation of the English Fairy (Perseus).
According to Ho Chi Minh City Astronomical Club (HAAC), unlike the previous year, this year the first days of the lunar month, no moonlight will affect the observation. However, because the weather is in the rainy season, the Perseids meteor shower is the most difficult to observe meteor shower in the annual meteor shower.

Astronomers say that we can observe at midnight the constellation of Perseids, where the center of the supernovae grows in the northeast.
However, at this time, clouds and dew near the horizon will hinder many of the meteor stars. So the best time to start watching stars is after 2 am when the center of the supernova is high enough and the supernovae have appeared.
In addition to the morning of August 13, according to the forecast of supernova peaks, we should also observe that in the dawn of 12-14 August, there will also be many meteor stars.
Experts also advised to avoid the city lights. The light of the moon or the light of the lamp will greatly affect the viewing of the meteor. In the countryside that is less polluted, you can see the number of meteor stars much more if you look at the city.
Most importantly, the weather conditions, the sky must be clear, and the normal stars can be clearly seen to see the supernova. If the current time is cloudy, don't be disappointed because the rainy season sky is very erratic. In addition, the observer should look at the broad sky in the northeast and up to the top of the head, not one place.
