What happens when the Earth falls into a black hole?

Humans cannot approach the black hole, but the robots can perform this difficult task and send the signal back to Earth before passing through the event horizon.

Humans cannot approach the black hole, but the robots can perform this difficult task and send the signal back to Earth before passing through the event horizon.

According to Kevin Pimbblet, a physics lecturer at the University of Hull, England, if a black hole is close to Earth, the part of the Earth that is closest to the black hole will have a greater force than the distant part, and the middle part will be pressed in. This effect is similar to a giant stretching the Earth from two polar ends. The Earth is no longer spherical but longer and narrower. When pulled to the limit, the Earth will be torn apart. This phenomenon is called pasta effect (spaghettification).

In the course of advancing to a black hole, the Earth seems to stop at one point and never touch the black hole. Because when an object approaches a black hole, its velocity will be faster while time slows down. The observer from another location in the universe will see the Earth slowly turn red and fade. However, the Earth did not really stop moving and eventually overtook the event horizon, Pimbblet concluded in the article on The Conversation on February 15.

Currently, scientists cannot explain exactly what happens beneath the event horizon. There, everything cannot escape, including light. The amount of radiation in the black hole is very large, it is easy to bake nine people. But in theory, humans can live in deep holes after falling into black holes.

General relativity indicates the existence of deep holes, a bridge through space-time, with black holes is its mouth. Therefore, if the Earth overcomes a safe black hole, it is possible that humans will come to a new universe.
