Second , corpses exposed to air for a long time will rot and produce bacteria. If there are too many corpses, it will cause infectious diseases that we call epidemics. Therefore, humans gradually began to learn how to bury corpses, and funeral rites arose. Because human corpses will bring death threats to the living, especially large-scale epidemics or wars, people will think of death, and the fear of corpses is a biological instinctive defense response that leads to fear.

Third , with the gradual advancement of human civilization, the treatment of corpses is not as simple as burial, but burial has become a ritual, a blessing for the deceased, and it is also a liberation for the living. Concepts and customs have also been in contact with us since we were young, so we feel that death is a very sad thing, corpses have become a taboo word for us, plus we watch some horror movies, thinking that the world is full of ghosts and are afraid, but people who work in funeral homes will not be afraid because they have been in contact with corpses all year round. If we have been in contact with corpses since we were young, we will naturally not be afraid of human corpses.
