Why is the same person that other people are intelligent and you are not?
Our intelligence is different because of different brains. But what else do you know?
Being born together is human, but each of us has different thinking and thinking. And also so that our intellect is different. There is a great intelligent person, there are also people who are not very smart.
The reason maybe everyone guesses: because our brains are not the same. But what difference do you know?
Where is Einstein's brain different from us?
Certainly not, because a recent scientific study found the truth hidden later. The secret lies in the cortex and neurons: the higher the IQ is, the less the link between the two.
In fact, previous studies have suggested that the bigger the brain, the more "intellect". But this new research looks deeper into the aspects of brain cells and realizes the truth: cells don't matter, how important is the connection between them.
How is research done?
Specifically, experts from Bochum University (Germany) conducted research on 260 candidates, using image waves to measure the density and distribution of gray matter in their brains.
Candidates then also perform a relatively difficult test, and the general score falls between 7 and 27 points out of 28.
The more links the brain is, the more difficult and more difficult to think.
After comparing the gray matter density with the test results, they realized that people with good analytical skills not only had more brain cells, but also fewer branches between neurons and cortex. tell.
Experts continue to use data from a project called Human Connectome , with more than 500 brain maps. The results are still the same: people with high IQ are also less likely to have neuron density.
This is an unusual point, compared to what the previous study. Basically, previous research has suggested that the more brain link is, the more effective the brain is. But it doesn't seem like that.
According to Erhan Genç - a neuroscientist from Bochum University, a smart brain does not necessarily have to work too much, but to be effective. That brain will not need a lot of links to function, but to minimize the thinking effort.
Cells don't matter, it's important how effective the connection between them is.
"A smart brain often has a thin, but effective neuron network," concluded Genç.
"It allows that brain to produce high-level thinking, without too much activity."
According to Gen., intellectual studies are often difficult, because it requires relatively abstract analysis.
But even so, if we can do that, then we understand more about the brain. And when we understand what a smart brain is, we can use it to solve the intellectual stimulation problem of humanity.
Maybe in the future, a new generation with superior intelligence will be born? Who know!
