In fact, whether inside or outside the bag, the laptop clearly displays on the screen of the X-ray machine as a semi-transparent object with battery, hard drive, CD player, speakers and components. Other parts are visible and easily recognizable. So why get out of your bag when checking security?

The answer is to make sure the inside of the computer does not hide suspicious objects.

The size of a laptop is thick enough to display as a solid block on the screen of an X-ray scanner. The image from the X-ray shows what's inside, but there are still some parts of the laptop that are difficult to detect, especially the battery.

If the laptop is still in the bag, the computer battery is quite large, thick, dense, possibly a place to hide contraband, weapons, or explosives and pass the scanner without being detected.

Although it is a rare situation, private screening is necessary to minimize terrorist attacks.
