In May 1718, Blackbeard attacked Charleston Harbor and captured five cargo ships. Later, he suddenly killed nearly half of his crew to seize wealth at Topsail. Because the ship was badly damaged, Blackbeard eventually left the Concorde and found another ship.

By 1997, archaeologists had found off the coast of Beaufort, the Northern California body of the ship and all of Blackbeard's huge treasure in the deep sea. This treasure was later awarded to North Carolina and was named the biggest treasure of the 20th century.

The last famous captain to be mentioned is Captain Black Bart and the Royal Fortune fleet. The first ship Bart took over was a French brigantine ship in 1720. He equipped 26 cannon for this ship and brought it to the Caribbean. Soon after, he continued to occupy a British warship for the Martinique government and changed its name to the second Royal Fortune, choosing it as the pioneer ship for his fleet. By West Africa, Bart won over Onslow and continued to add to the Royal Fortune team. A total of more than 400 ships off West Africa, Canada and the Caribbean were captured by Bart from 1719 to the year. 1722.
