According to a report on the Quaternary Science magazine, lead researcher Professor Danielle Schreve, his team has drawn the conclusion after studying the skeleton of the twisted hairy rhino, found in 2002 at Staffordshire (England).

Bone is in perfect condition when it is discovered, and is the best specimen of twisted fur rhino in the UK in this century.

A total of 33 separate parts of the rhino were found, including the complete skull and lower jaw, some vertebrae, ribs and the main parts of the anterior limb.
