Strong cold air rushed back, the North decreased 5 degrees

This morning, the intensified cold air covered the whole North, the daytime temperature dropped about 5 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the mountains to below 12 degrees.

This cold air is drier so it will help the Northern weather less moist. It is expected that this cold spell will last about 3 days, in which tomorrow will be the coldest of the wave.

Compared to yesterday, the daytime heat in Hanoi capital today dropped about 4 degrees Celsius, from 23 degrees to 18 degrees Celsius. The cold with scattered little rain.

Compared to yesterday, Hanoi fell 4-5 degrees C.

Tonight when deep in the cold air mass, the temperature in Hanoi and the delta provinces simultaneously decreased to 14-15 degrees Celsius, the mountainous area was 12-14 degrees Celsius, particularly in the high mountains below 12 degrees Celsius.

Due to the increase of cold air, in the area from Thanh Hoa - Thua Thien Hue, there will be rain, with moderate rainfall and heavy rain.

Today, the highest temperature in the North Central region is 19-22 degrees Celsius, Hue alone can be 21-24 degrees. At night it was 14-17 degrees Celsius.

In the southern region, people will welcome Tet Mr. Cong, Mr. Tao in pretty weather, the day is not too intense with the heat of 30-33 degrees Celsius, the night is cool 23-26 degrees.

At sea, from this morning in the Gulf of Tonkin, strong north-east winds to level 6, level 7 jerk. The northern part of the South China Sea (including the Paracel Islands) has a strong northeast wind level 6-7. The sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau from the night of January 21 has strong northeast wind of level 5-6, sea waves of 2-3m high.

In the southern sea, due to the influence of low pressure ditches with an axis of about 4-7 latitude North, in the South China Sea (including the waters of Spratly Islands), there are showers and strong thunderstorms. This will continue in the next 2-3 days.
