YouTube, eBay won the 'Oscar of the Internet' award.
David Bowie, eBay, YouTube and Website photo sharing Flickr are the bright stars in the Webby Awards 2007 night - the prize is like the "Oscar" of the Internet village.
The winners at this year's awards ceremony were selected from more than 8000 nominations from 60 different countries - a record number. The result is determined by 400,000 user votes and a panel of 80 experts divided equally among 100 categories of awards.
" Our goal is to honor all the achievements on the Web, " said David-Michel Davies, managing director of the annual award Webby. "The Web has stripped out entertainment and media, and the winners will go down in history because they are part of that revolution ."

New Zealand actress Jessica Lee Rose, a celebrity on the YouTube site, nicknamed "Lonelygirl115" won the Best Actress award.
