Youtube implements an anonymous view for the Android operating system

In May, it was reported that two YouTube and YouTube Music apps are testing an incognito mode for the Android operating system similar to that on Chrome browser. And now, this feature has been officially deployed to all users.

After updating, try to check in the Account view, the Logout button is now replaced with the "Enable Incognito Mode" option. Thanks to the arrangement right on the right corner of the screen, YouTube users can easily access incognito mode regardless of which tab.

When you enable this feature for the first time, YouTube will display the prompt "You have gone to incognito mode" with the gray "You are in incognito" notification bar just below the screen that appears all the time use process.

Besides, when anonymous, you can only use the Home tab and the Pros tab. Other items like Registration, Inbox, Library and Search only show the same cone and frame icons as on Google Chrome, and reminders that the previewed content will not be saved to history.

And for those who are always in the habit of watching in incognito mode, when encountering a good video and want to add to the playlist, the "Turn off incognito mode" option will immediately appear below while keeping location you are watching.

The incognito view is for those who often watch "sensitive" videos and don't want YouTube to save history. It will turn off automatically after a period of no use and users can touch the avatar right corner to turn it back on manually. If you still have not experienced the above feature, please update to the latest version of YouTube on the Google Play app store now.
