Russia produces artificial skin for burns and eye diseases

The city of Orenburg, 1,500km from Russia's capital, opened a unique production facility.Since November, the experimental technology business 'Biomateria' has begun producing nanotech bioplast pristine materials for the medical industry.

>>>Bullet-proof artificial leather

The main product of this facility is the bio bios 'bioskin' . This preparation is used to treat burns and other skin and joint injuries as well as to treat eye diseases.

The new material is called 'Giamatrix' made by the scientific team of Orenburg University. Three years ago this new material was patented. However, until 2011 this new production facility was born.

The 'Giamatrix ' material reduces pain and makes the wound burn faster. Clinical efficiency increased thanks to the use of nanotechnology.

Unlike similar foreign-made preparations, Russia's bio-skin has a higher degree of compatibility, ensuring better medical performance.'Giamatrix' is a unique material because there is no need to change the dressing on the wound. While the damage on the skin heals, the bandage with 'Giamatrix' will gradually 'dissipate'.

In addition, this material is capable of regeneration: transplant cells can grow on artificial skin. Another important detail is that Russian bio-leather has a lower cost than similar foreign materials.
