US scientists have successfully built a special gun, capable of spraying new skin cells, helping to cure the victim's damaged area and significantly reducing their recovery time.

"Skin cell gun" significantly reduces the healing and recovery time of burn patients.

According to Discovery , a new type of burn treatment device called " Skin Cell Gun ". The results of stem cell research have allowed US researchers to develop a new way of turning stem cells into living cells.

The process was first tested in 2008 by Professor Joerg C. Gerlach and colleagues at the Department of Surgery at McGowan Institute of Regenerative Medicine, Pittsburgh University.

Basically, " Firecrackers skin " acts as a complex paint spray gun. A doctor will biopsy the unaffected skin area of burn patients to isolate healthy stem cells. Next, experts conduct water-based treatment, including the use of guns to spray healthy stem cells into burns and patients will recover quickly.

The treatment with " skin cell gun " takes only about an hour and a half from the beginning until completion. Meanwhile, the current popular treatment for burns, which uses skin transplants, can last from weeks to even months. According to PhysOrg page , the traditional method requires taking skin parts from unaffected areas of the patient's body, or nourishing artificial skin and implanting them into the burned area.

The difference in patient recovery time is also very large between the two methods. While patients may take several weeks to recover if treated with the traditional method, they will only need a few days to fully recover from the " Skin Cell Gun ".
