Fingerprints on bricks in UAE.
According to Fox news, fingerprints were found at the Hili 2 site in Abu Dhabi, part of Al Ain's UNESCO World Heritage.
In a post on Facebook, Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism said that fingerprints could provide important clues for archaeologists. They explain how ancient people have applied advanced techniques in construction.
It is possible that ancient craftsmen used their hands to create dents in mud bricks. After that, they would pour mortar into the dents, to create a bond between the bricks and erect the walls.
The elaborate carved seal is found.
Besides, archaeological experts at the location of Hili 2 also discovered a series of other fascinating ancient artifacts. Among the discoveries were the well-preserved clay furnaces, containing dozens of scorched stones. They said that the ancients used them to heat stones and then roasted meat for meals.
The location of Hili was once famous for its sophisticated irrigation system from the Iron Age. The artifacts found this time also provide important evidence, the transformation of regional cultures from hunting and gathering to sedentary cultivation of the ancient people in this place.
