4 Vietnamese scientists on the list of

The list of "most influential scientists in the world" by Thomson Reuters announced this year named four Vietnamese scientists.

They are Professor Nguyen Son Binh (Northwestern University, USA), Professor Nguyen Thuc Quyen (Univ University of Santa Barbara, USA), Professor Vo Van Anh (Queensland University of Technology, Australia) and Associate Professor Nguyen Xuan Hung (CMU Medical University Taichung, Taiwan). For the second time in a row, Mr. Nguyen Son Binh and Nguyen Xuan Hung are on this list.

Professor Nguyen Son Binh works at Northwestern University's Department of Science. Currently he focuses on researching soft material designs for chemical applications in catalysis, medicine and materials science.

Professor Nguyen Thuc Quyen is a lecturer of science and biochemistry at the University of California. She focused on research on organic electronic devices such as photovoltaic, led.

Professor Vo Van Anh works at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Queensland University of Technology, Australia. According to Tia Sang magazine, his research area includes a random model of nonlinear diffusion process; statistical estimation and approximation of anomalous diffusion.

Associate Professor Nguyen Xuan Hung was born in 1976, is from Quang Tri, currently lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and CMU University of Medicine (Taiwan). He graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences then studied in Belgium. His research focuses on developing powerful computing and simulation tools on computers.

Four Vietnamese scientists are on the list of more than 3,000 scientists in the fields of natural sciences and social sciences.
