41 works of winning scientific creativity

On March 19, Vietnam Technological Innovation Support Fund (VIFOTEC) officially announced the list of works for Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award and WIPO 2012 Award.

Accordingly, this year's award has received 105 constructions and decided to award 41 works, including 5 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes and 16 consolation prizes.

The first prize winning works will be awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, Certificate of Merit from the Organizing Committee, Certificate of Creative Labor, Creative Youth Badge and bonus worth 40 million VND.

Professor, academician Dang Vu Minh, Chairman of the Union of Vietnam Science and Technology Associations (Head of the Awards Organizing Committee) said the prize is to encourage scientists to go into research and application. modern scientific and technological achievements and technology integrated with the Vietnamese situation in production and life.

In addition, the award is also to honor scientists and technology whose works have great scientific and socio-economic value which have been effectively applied in Vietnam, contributing to promoting production, improve quality, lower product costs, replace imports .

Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award focuses on 6 priority areas of State science and technology such as: Mechanic-Automation (10 prizes); material technology (10 awards); information technology, electronics and telecommunications (6 prizes); biology for production and life (8 prizes); technology to protect the environment and rational use of resources (5 solutions) and technology to save energy and use new energy (2 prizes).

In addition, the VIFOTEC Fund said that the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) also considered granting WIPO certificates and logos to a project, a female author and an excellent enterprise.

Accordingly, the best enterprise award belongs to Thang Long Environmental Services Joint Stock Company; The most outstanding work belongs to the application of technology to produce Fito-Biomix RR in rice straw treatment in the field to produce organic fertilizer for plants to protect the environment by Dr. Nguyen Van Tri and colleagues; The excellent female author is Master Le Thi Thu Hien (Thuy Phuong Poultry Research Center).

The awards ceremony will take place at 10 pm on March 23 in Hanoi and will be broadcast live on VTV2 (Vietnam Television).

5 works won the first prize of Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award, including:

- "Researching technology and designing, manufacturing and testing synchronous equipment for settlement of subsidence and collapse of construction and relocation works" by engineer Do Quoc Khanh and engineer Do Quoc Viet (Vietnam Incline Settlement Company, Hanoi).

- "Researching, designing, manufacturing and deploying the application of air filtration equipment to operate efficiently and economically from domestic materials" by engineer Tran Van Quy, engineer Tran Van Long (Company TADICO Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Joint Stock Company, Da Nang).

- "Applying technology to produce Fito-Biomix RR in rice straw treatment in the field into organic fertilizer for plants to protect the environment of Dr. Nguyen Van Tri and colleagues (Technology Joint Stock Company biology, Hanoi).

- "Researching to create and develop a number of colored feathered chicken lines aiming for egg yield and high quality" by Dr. Phung Duc Tien and his colleagues (Thuy Phuong Poultry Research Center, Institute of Animal Husbandry).

- "Research on technological process, equipment and application for production of zeolite 4A products to replace imported products" by engineer Nguyen Van Hao (Can Tho Fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Company).
