7 finger relaxation exercises for office people

Frequent typing on the keyboard makes the hands, fingers tired. You can do simple exercises to relax like holding hands, folding fingers .

Hold my hand

Gently hold your hand, hold for 30-60 seconds, then spread your hand to the full size. Repeat the exercise 4 times on each hand.

Fold your fingers

Raise hand forward, palm facing. Fold 5 fingers so that the tip of the finger touches the end of the palm of the hand, near the base of the knuckles. Hold the movement for 30-60 seconds and release. Repeat the exercise on each side at least 4 times.

Exercises with the ball

Choose a soft, small, rubber ball that fits in your hand.

Use your hand to squeeze the ball as hard as you can, hold it for a few seconds, and then relax your hand. Or use your thumb and tip of the other fingers to squeeze the ball, hold for 30-60 seconds.

Repeat each side 10-15 times. You can do the exercise two to three times a week, taking care not to do it if your thumb is sore.

Finger stretch

Hold your palms down on the table or any surface. Gently apply 5 fingers to the table as close as possible, taking care not to hurt the joints. Hold the pose for 30-60 seconds, then release your hand. Repeat each hand 4 times.

Lift finger

Put your palms close to the face of a table. Gently lift your thumb off the table, hold for 1-2 seconds, then lower. Do the same for the other fingers. You can lift all 5 fingers at once and then lower them. Repeat the exercise on each hand 8-12 times.

Bending thumb

Raise hand in front of me, fingers spread. Pull the thumb away from the remaining four fingers as much as possible, then fold the thumb, so that the tip of the thumb touches the tip of the little knuckle, hold for 30-60 seconds. Repeat at least 4 times on each side. Exercises increase flexibility for the thumb.

Fold your thumb
