Survey results show that computers of people working in the field of commerce are infected the most (96%), continue to education (95%), services (94%) .

Results of the BKIS survey showed that 34% of respondents said that it took several days of troubleshooting the virus. The number of people who regularly update the new antivirus program periodically is 44%.

20% of users update daily and 8% of users update the new antivirus program monthly. The remaining 28% only updates the new antivirus program when they suspect their computer has been infected.

The situation of computers infected with Spyware (spyware) and Adware (adware) in Vietnam last year was also very serious (87% of respondents said their computers had been harassed ).

Besides, up to 57% of respondents said they had to receive from 1 to 10 spams / day. Another 12% said they had to receive between 10 and 20 spams a day and up to 20% of respondents said they had to receive at least 20 spams a day.

In response to those in charge of websites in Vietnam, 34% of websites were attacked from 1 to 2 times, 11% of websites were attacked 3 to 5 times and 20% of websites were attacked more. 5 times.

According to calculations, the average loss of each computer user is about 260,000 - 410,000 VND / year.

In 2005, there were 232 new viruses, adware and spyware detected in Vietnam compared to 84 viruses last year.
