9-year-old British boy caught a white sturgeon weighing nearly 300 kg on a fishing trip with his father in Fraser River, Canada.

According to Mirror, given instructions, it took Kegan Rothman nearly an hour to wrestle with the fish.

"This is the most exciting moment I've ever had while fishing. Controlling the need is very difficult, the fish almost pulled me into the water ," Rothman said.

The boy guided the fish back to the river, after catching it. This video attracts nearly 100,000 views on Youtube.

"The sturgeon is many times bigger than the boy. The moment the fish catches is probably both fun and scary," a user wrote. Others commented, " Good sentence! They decided to release the fish, it was great!"
