With the intention of producing clean tea to introduce into difficult markets, after many years of research, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoan - farmer in Tien Phong village, Phu Lam commune, Yen Son district, Tuyen Quang province has successfully built deep tea vacuum machine.
Deep suction machine for Hoan's tea tree.
Recently, his invention has been awarded the second prize by the Vietnam Farmers Association in the third national farmers' technical innovation competition.
With more than 6,600 hectares of tea, to produce clean tea without pesticides, this farmer has to catch each and every one of them hard. Meanwhile, coming to harvest time, on young tea buds often appear kinds of young worms, stink bugs, silk-wing spider . Anh Hoan decided to embark on research to create a machine that can be attracted. deep tea.
He bought broken machines of crushed dealers such as lawn mowers, pesticide pumps . to study.
It took nearly two years of research and demolition of hundreds of machines. Finally, Mr. Hoan successfully built a deep vacuum tea machine.
His machine consists of 5 parts, which are straws, mesh screens, machine shafts, racks, propellers.
A deep vacuum tea machine can absorb half a hectare of tea every day, consuming 2.5 liters of gasoline.
In addition to successfully manufacturing the deep tea vacuum machine, Hoan also improved the grass generator into a tea cutting machine, built a chemical fertilizer department and attached it to a mini plow to fertilize 13 hectares of family tea.
Mr. Hoan is still studying to find ways to lower the price and increase the capacity of deep vacuums.
He explained to 1ha of tea, if using a deep vacuum machine, it will take 2 labor and 5 liters of gasoline, equivalent to about 220,000 VND but if using pesticides, it will total about 250,000 VND.
However, it is also because of the disadvantages of labor intensive to attract tea deeply so Hoan's deep vacuum invention is only for the production of the family.
