Doctors in the UK recommend that those who have runny nose should not take antibiotics because the disease will automatically go away.

Research has found that antibiotics often have side effects such as vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain. According to experts, the best advice is to blow your nose continuously to remove the virus. If antibiotics are used too much, there is a high risk of drug resistance.
