A thousand-year-old gold mummy like the one who lives in China
According to Daily Mail, the Zen master Ci Xian was taken to a CT scan at the Dinghui Temple, in Wuhan, north of Hebei Province, China.

Zen master Ci Xian is a revered monk because he has traveled from ancient India to China to spread Buddhism. The CT shooting took place on July 8 in the presence of monks, press agencies and followers.
Zen master Ci Xian has existed for about 1,000 years.

Dr. Wu Yongqing said after the CT scan: 'We checked his bones and found he was as healthy as a normal person. The upper jaw, upper teeth, ribs and joints are still complete. This is amazing. '
The results show that the mummy remains intact as the living person.
According to ancient documents, Zen master Ci Xian is Indian. He lived during the Khitan dynasty (916-1125) and came to spread Buddhist philosophy in northeastern China today, near the Korean peninsula.

He is said to have translated 10 Buddhist scriptures into Chinese. Later, he was ordained a Buddhist master by the Khitan monarch. Some of Zen Master Ci Xian's translations are engraved on stone and still exist today.
After his death, the Zen master Ci Xian for careful preservation but lost in years. It was not until the 1970s that his body was found in a cave.
Since 2011, the Zen master Ci Xian has been placed at Dinghui Temple. His body is expected to be transferred to another temple being built since next year.
