Festo, an international automotive technology developer, designed and created the Airacuda, a remote-controlled pneumatic pneumatic fish.

In addition to the actual shape and movement, Airacuda was propelled by a mechanical finnage transmission system. Two pairs of liquid muscles control its caudal fin movements, while the directional adjustment is due to two subcentric muscles.
