Aliens contact the earth with lasers

Astronomers say aliens can communicate with the earth by flashing a laser light like a cosmic lighthouse.

Laser experts at Vienna University of Technology, Austria, developed a fuzzy laser signal receiver and appeared regularly at a distance, hoping to determine extraterrestrial life. This device is very sensitive and can detect low light over a billionth of a second.

Because the signal is transmitted over a very large distance, the laser is the most effective type of light used by experts, the study reported in Astrobiology.

"We believe aliens use a simple way to get people's attention, including how to use periodic pulses of light ," said Professor Walter Leeb, the lead researcher.

The team performed experiments by simulating alien laser light emitting 10,000 beats of near-infrared light at a distance of 500 light years. According to experts, although the laser is sent with very high energy, it still becomes fuzzy when it arrives, because it has gone a long way.

Many astronomers tried to find life in the universe, but they did not achieve good results. Professor Leeb added that the project is still incomplete, but the technology will provide evidence that humans are not alone in the universe.
