Strange things still happen in the Bermuda Triangle?
The "legend" of the Bermuda Triangle has been circulating for decades, as more than 50 ships and 20 planes have mysteriously disappeared in this area .
The area known as the Bermuda Triangle is located in the northwest Atlantic Ocean. The three points of this triangle point towards Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico .
More than 50 ships and 20 planes have disappeared in the area. The most prominent is the mysterious disappearance of "Flight 19 ," according to Newsweek .

Flight 19 was the mission name of a group of five US Navy torpedo bombers that mysteriously disappeared while flying over the Bermuda Triangle in 1945. The remains of the bombers have never been found and the reason for their disappearance remained a mystery for many years.
Recently, Canadian historian David O'Keefe joined a team that traveled to the area to search for a downed World War II plane for a new television documentary about the Bermuda Triangle : "Into the Damned Waters."
Strange things still happen
'As far as the data is concerned, the sinkings and the loss of aircraft continue,' said Mr O'Keefe. 'However, we now have a much better understanding of the area.'
The "sensationalism" seems to have died down, at least for the time being.
One theory is that the area sees violent storms coming in from multiple directions. This could create huge waves, which some believe could reach over 30m.
Now, debris from Flight 19 has been found in the area. While the new documentary was being filmed, Mr. O'Keefe, along with a team led by marine biologist Mike Barnette, discovered a large piece of the 1986 space shuttle Challenger near the triangle.
The US space shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds into flight. All seven people on board died when the ship broke apart at an altitude of 14,000m over the Atlantic Ocean.
'This discovery was a shock,' said Mr. O'Keefe. 'We never imagined that following the story of Flight 19 would lead us to a discovery so important to American history and the space program.'
This discovery proves that there are still many mysteries to be investigated off the coast of Florida stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean.
Is the Bermuda Triangle dangerous?
Despite the superstitions and stories surrounding the Bermuda Triangle, there is no concrete evidence that the area is actually dangerous.
The Aviation Safety Network and the US Coast Guard have pointed out for years that some disappearances can be explained by storm conditions in the area.
Other disappearances are still speculative, but the ships may not be safe. That means the Bermuda Triangle has nothing to do with what happened.
'Just like human nature, whenever we can't find the answer to a certain question, we open up Pandora's box of hypotheses to satisfy our intellectual hunger and curiosity ,' said O'Keefe.
Mr O'Keefe said the aim of the documentary was to identify and name some of the hundreds of wreck sites in the Bermuda Triangle and to "bring some peace to some families who have lost loved ones without understanding why".
