The bill is signed at the Google Complex in Mountain View, California, where engineers are researching the development of unmanned vehicles and also where employees routinely use these vehicles to move.

Self-driving, though not illegal, runs on the streets before the bill passes, but Google and its technology developers hope the legalization of the vehicle will avoid legal troubles as well as minimal restrictions. There are barriers that they may be in the future.

California's bill does not have as many restrictions as other states. In Nevada, before the car has to be run for several hours.

Google believes that self-guided cars are far more secure than human-driven cars. They will not be affected by psychological factors, emotions or health conditions.

Earlier, Google said its unmanned vehicle had completed more than 300,000 miles without any problems.
