China commissioned a self-propelled bus
China has officially launched a new bus using self-steering technology, which frees drivers in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province.
Self-propelled bus test in China
Yutong, a Chinese transportation vehicle manufacturer, has successfully shipped self-propelled buses. In particular, these buses can handle a variety of complex driving tasks such as turning lanes, overtaking cars and obeying traffic lights.
The car has a top speed of 67.5km / h. The 32km long distance test in Zhengzhou City does not record any damage or collision caused by the self-propelled bus.

Yutong spent three years working with the Chinese Academy of Engineering and many self-steering car experts to build a self-propelled bus. The car consists of two cameras, four laser-based radars and an integrated navigation system.
However, Yutong claims that the bus and its self-propelled technology still need to be further researched and developed before being legalized on the roads in China.
