The advantage of using almonds is that it is delicious and can be eaten at any time. However, according to Dr. Gupta, eating almonds should be combined with a reasonable calculation of calory intake to effectively treat diabetes.

Diabetes arises when the body reduces its ability to produce hormone insulin that controls blood sugar levels. People with this disease have symptoms of fatigue, excessive thirst and frequent urination.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), India is currently the country with the largest number of diabetics in the world with 50.8 million people, followed by China with 43.2 million people. It is expected that by 2030, the number of people suffering from this disease in India will increase to 87 million.

One of the main causes of a sharp increase in diabetes in India is the sedentary work regime and the use of fast food.
