The existence of black hole wind was confirmed by scientists in 2015 through Herschel Observatory and ALMA in Chile.

Extremely hot and energetic, black hole winds destroy everything on their path, including molecules that create star formation.
Surprisingly, scientists have discovered new molecules created in these winds, an unexpected discovery because new molecules are often found in the cold spaces of the universe, not in hot, harsh winds like this.
Some astronomers argue that these molecules can be formed in the black hole wind and are able to adapt to such harsh conditions.
Alexander Richings, Lindheimer Ph.D. fellow at Northwestern University (CIERA), created a computer model that simulates chemical processes that occur in interstellar gas accelerated by radiation from these. The model shows that the gas that is entrained in the wind can form new molecules such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and water.
Richings explained: "When a black wind recovers gas from the host galaxy, the gas is heated at high temperatures, destroying any existing molecules.
" By simulating molecular chemistry in black hole wind from quantum computers, we found that low-lying regions in the center of black holes can be cool and form new molecules, following the wind that escapes." .
