Amazingly huge ants fire floating in the super typhoon in America

An American reporter has just shot a scene of giant ants floating on flooded waters reported by super typhoon Florence, New York Post.

Millions of ants have gathered together, shaped a small 'island' to survive the flood in North Carolina.

Reporter Gadi Schwartz posted a video on Twitter with the caption: 'Millions of million fire ants form islands and float on floodwater'.

Another journalist, Dave Hendrickson, reposted Schwartz's video and wrote: ' For those who think that super typhoon Florence can't be worse, this is a nightmare for you. Ants island '.

These types of fire ants can have hills, ribbons or a flat carpet, according to scientists.

"It's not just humans trying to float in the flood," wrote The Weather Channel.

'Fire ants can be seen floating on flood water. Researchers say ants can turn their bodies into rafts. They link together to form floating islands'.

This phenomenon was also recorded in other parts of North Carolina, according to the New York Post.

Last year, during Hurricane Harvey, fire ants were also discovered in Texas.
