Which insect is the smartest?
Many experiments have been conducted to test the capabilities of insect brains and the results have been surprising .
Measuring the intelligence of non-human animals is a difficult task. However, many experiments have shown that honeybees, ants, and wasps are intelligent and cunning insects.

According to IFLScience , honeybees can do basic math, understand the concept of zero (0), and even recognize odd and even numbers. They also have incredible navigational skills, able to find the shortest and most optimal path between flowers.
In addition to their mathematical abilities, bees have excellent memories, impressive dance communication skills, and produce honey. Asian honey bees even scream to warn of a hornet attack.
They also have the ability to create waves to surf to safety, preventing them from drowning.
Ants

Ants are famous for their intelligence, especially their ability to work in large colonies.
While not known for their learning abilities like bees, ants have some practical skills. Some ants, for example, cultivate fungi. Some even raise aphids as livestock, building nests for them and protecting them from bad weather. In return, they collect honey from them.
Scientists have also found that ants can use previous experiences to make decisions based on the interests of the entire colony, even changing their priorities.
Ants also possess excellent survival strategies. They are considered the doctors of the insect world, with some species of ants having the ability to amputate limbs and treat wounds with body fluids.
Fire ants have also been seen "building rafts" or "bridges" to reach safety during floods.

Wasp
Scientists have noted that tarantula hawk wasps find and paralyze tarantula spiders , drag the spider back to their nest, and lay a single egg on the spider's corpse.
Once the egg hatches, it will feed on the spider until it emerges as an adult wasp. Turning a dead body into a home and a food source is a good start for a wasp as it begins its life.
