America discovered 3 new types of toads that are rare

American biologists have discovered that three new toad strains are rare in the Great Basin, Nevada (USA). This is a very rare finding in the United States.

According to the latest information published in the scientific journal, biologists said three new toads were found in a large-scale survey of the lake's bottom. The scientific names of these types are: Dixie Valley, Railroad Valley and Hot Creek .

One of the three new toads was found in the Great Basin Lake - Dixie Valley.

To accurately determine the types of toads, scientists have to use up to 30 studies of different DNA shapes and patterns. Thereby, it is confirmed that these are three very rare toad breeds, separated from the frog family from more than 650,000 years ago.

Jenny Loda, a biologist at the American Center for Biological Diversity, said: "The new discovery contributes to increasing our understanding of the diversity of amphibians in our habitat. "But it is important that this animal's survival. I hope this discovery is timely to help the toads escape the threats they face."

Since 1985, scientists have only discovered three new frog species, and new toads are hardly found. The most recently discovered frog is Wyoming, found by scientists in northern Mexico in 1968. The frog has been identified as extinct.
