Deep Space Industries is the second US company to announce plans to develop resource exploitation in space asteroids.

Deep Space Industries said it will send a spacecraft called "Firefly" to an extraterrestrial asteroid about six months in 2015.

This survey satellite weighs about 25kg, the size of a laptop will be boosted by the rocket.

The construction cost of the Firefly spacecraft is estimated at about $ 20 million, half of which will be funded by the US government and research institutes, with the remaining funds coming from advertising and funding.
