"It is very simple, just use a block of electromagnet made of copper-wrapped core. The magnet works by being connected to the power source from the car spark plug. All metal objects are as small as trees. The nail will be sucked when the device works, " said Ngo Phuong Chan, one of the two co-creative students.

Student Nguyen Van Thanh, who is studying in the 4th year of the Faculty of Mechanics and Robotics, said that the idea of ​​Thanh and Chan has been rekindled for many years, but both have only begun to be implemented since mid-2008 and completed this way some week.

"The types of permanent magnetic magnets, one-way electromagnets with the battery from a motorcycle battery, have all been tested, but eventually, the alternating electromagnet chosen by it doesn't harm batteries like other magnets, " Thanh said.

According to the description of Phuong Chan, the magnet block is preserved in a sealed box, attached to the vehicle's block, which will completely prevent the problem of rolling nails in the rear wheels. "Normally the front wheels are less dreaded than the rear wheels, the tests of the group show that, the device mounting position under the engine block will eliminate almost 100% of the ability of the rear wheels", this student explain.

According to the two authors, in the future, if possible, the anti-piracy device will be equipped with a switch so that the driver can turn it off or open easily when not in use.

"The most worrying thing about the group is to find the appropriate technical solution to connect the power from the spark plug to the magnet. In addition, the device container must be very tight, otherwise, high tide or rain can damage the male. "Mr. Chan said.

In the presentation of the last topic at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Technology, Dr. Le Dinh Phuong, Chairman of the School Science Council, highly appreciated the application value of the anti-piracy magnet block. According to Mr. Phuong, in addition to manufacturing equipment for motorbikes, his students need to research to develop more devices to classify metal in garbage in industrial parks and domestic landfill for recycling.

The price of each set of anti-nail products, according to the author, will be about VND 400,000. However, up to now, this idea of ​​smoking is still a scientific topic that has not been applied.
