AOL entered security
The upcoming security market will have another company to join, which is AOL with a free product 'Total Care' capable of competing with similar software packages from other firms.
The 'Total Care' trial version will be released in the next few weeks for AOL customers and ordinary users, and Total Care will have a variety of computer and system security features, and is comparable par with the newly announced Microsoft Windows Live oneCare service or upcoming products from Symantec, McAfee.
Total Care marked the first steps of AOL in the field of security. In addition, the company is quietly testing the trial version of another security tool called Active Security Monitor - which allows you to check and display the security status of your computer, and to show you the Instructions for users to enhance system protection.
However, AOL did not develop Total Care on its own. AOL has partnered with third-party security vendors such as McAfee and CA in the process of building this package.
