Apple blocked the fatal error for iTunes
Apple has just released an update to close a deadly security hole in iTunes online store software.
Apple's security warning bulletin indicates that the newly unencrypted vulnerability in iTunes could be exploited by hackers to take full control of the PC, whether it is Windows or Mac OS X.
The cause of this security error is a buffer overflow error that occurs during image processing of iTunes music album. Hackers could trick users into opening a malicious music file with implantable exploit code, helping to 'boot' the buffer overflow to allow them to hack into a PC or execute malicious code.
Parallel to fixing the upgrade security error, adding a new feature to iTunes. Now users can easily convert the songs they previously purchased through iTunes into cellphone ringtones. An additional feature is the ability to connect wirelessly directly from iPhone.
Users are advised to quickly download and install the update. (Update for Mac OS X and Windows).
