Artificial intelligence can predict when a person will die

Have you ever wanted to know how old you will live? Danish scientists have created an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can predict this for you.

Death is the scariest thing for many people. However, sometimes there are people who still want to know their life expectancy in advance so they can be ready to face death. Of course, no one can predict the future, but an artificial intelligence system can do this with a high degree of accuracy.

Accordingly, scientists at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) have created an artificial intelligence system called "life2vec" , capable of predicting the lifespan and time of a person's death.

During the development of this AI system, DTU scientists collected data from more than one million volunteers participating in research in Denmark between 2008 and 2020.

The data collected includes education level, health status, medical records, job characteristics, level of satisfaction with life.

After being trained on collected data, "life2vec" used algorithms to predict whether any of the volunteers in the 35 to 65 age group would die in 2020. . Prediction results show an accuracy level of up to 79%.

"We used artificial intelligence to solve a question many people asked, which is predicting your future events based on current conditions and past events," said Dr. Dr. Sune Lehman, from DTU and head of the research team, shared.

Sune Lehman said "life2vec" will string together data about a person, including health status, job satisfaction, living habits. to give a probability of what happens next to the person. that person is based on statistics.

"This AI system considers human life as a long series of events, from which the AI model will analyze and sequence these events to predict the next events, including when a people passed away ," Dr. Lehman added.

The study, published in the journal "Nature Computational Science", shows that the predictions of the "life2vec" model are 11% more accurate than other existing AI computational models.

Dr. Lehman said that many life insurance companies have used AI models to calculate and predict customer longevity, but she affirmed that the "life2vec" model provides highly accurate prediction results. more.

Of course, the AI model "life2vec" can only predict the lifespan and when a person will die from natural causes or illness, while those who die from accidents are probably not systematic. Which AI can predict?

The question is whether anyone is willing to let AI predict when they will die, because if they knew when they would die, these people would have to go through a life full of pressure and burden. because I knew in advance when death would come to me.
