It is known that the area where people discovered gas is the land around the gas store of Quy Nguyet petrol store owner located on the land of Mr. Nguyen Van Ban's family. Gas storage was built 3 years ago. The warehouse has about 3-4 liters of storage, each tank has a capacity of 10,000 liters.

In this area, the soil turns into a gray color due to the infiltration of gasoline. Fish and duckweed in ponds of households near this area also died out due to gasoline contamination.
