Beautiful 'unprecedented' images of the Milky Way

Boris Dmitriev shared: 'The best thing about taking photos at night is to be immersed in nature. It seems, you are going through space, time and liberating yourself. The photos I took show a supernatural beauty, but when you look at them, you suddenly realize that it's great to be here, when you are immersed in the universe. "

Our Milky Way is a galaxy in which the solar system is in it.

It appears in the sky like a strip of white light extending from the constellation Fairy Tale (Cassiopeia) in the north to the South Cross (Crux) in the south.

In the Ngan River there are over 100 billion stars and this is the endless inspiration of photographers like Dmitriev.

The Milky Way is about 100,000 light-years in diameter, in which the distance from the Sun to the center of the Milky Way is about 27,700 light-years.

Stars in the Milky Way revolve around the area known as the Milky Way's center.Our Earth is about 7.6 kiloparsec (24,800 light-years away) from this center.

Our solar system takes about 226 million years to complete a cycle around the center of the Milky Way, and has now completed about 25 revolutions.

In 2004, a group of astronomers calculated the age of the Milky Way.With some algorithms and observations, they deduced the Milky Way's expected age: 13,600 million years old, with an error of about 800 million years.
