Black salt processing into high-quality industrial salt
Recently, the Hanoi University of Technology has successfully researched the technology of processing black salt into high quality industrial salt.
This research opens new hopes for the Vietnamese salt industry.
Previously to clean salt, high quality, salt farmers still use the traditional way is to lined the salt field.
However, according to many experts, the salt obtained from this production method only meets the requirements of color (whiteness) but not completely clean, because the content of NaCl is only 90-92%, the impurities Soluble and insoluble in salt is quite high, so salt difficult to use in the industry.
Scheme 'The reality of the Salt and scalable model salt harvest processing' Dr Hoang Sinh School, Hanoi University of Science and Technology has been studied in order to overcome this limitation.
Capacity of the crude salt processing model is 10 tons / day and the NaCl content is over 98%.
According to scientists, the replication of the promising model will be sufficient for the domestic industry and exporters, replacing the absolute amount of top-quality salts imported annually. Moreover, the cost of equipment for the entire model is only about 100 million.
While the price of salt and clean salt is not much difference, the depreciation of equipment is only one to two years. This will be a promising new direction, contributing to improving the quality of salt, meeting the demand for clean salt for the industry and improving the living standards of salt producers.
