Recently, staff at the Grand Teton National Park of the United States had to temporarily shut down some areas, when cracks on the ground appeared more and more.

Grand Teton is located right next to Yellowstone National Park, which Yellowstone is located on the super giant volcano, with the highest level of activity today. Therefore, the cracks in Grand Teton made the public extremely worried. Is that a sign that this volcano is about to explode?

What does the experts say?

In fact, Yellostone National Park is indeed lying on a fire bomb. And if it explodes, the climate in the whole US will be disturbed for quite a long time. So, the story of the crack has spread so many people feel anxious is not difficult to understand.

"The staff went to check the crack, and realized that it was getting wider and bigger," said Denise Germann, a Teton spokesman.

According to Germann, this crack was not the same as normal. It is 30m long, running along the rocky slopes to the park's Hidden Falls waterfall area.

So the park fenced off these areas, and it was a decision that was judged to be correct.

But what does that crack mean? Is Yellostone volcano beginning to wake up?

According to experts, the story of Grand Teton appears some cracks that are not too surprising. Although not directly located on Yellostone's magma chamber, the entire area is influenced by geological activities in the volcanic heart.

This means that any small changes in the mountain's core can create cracks, not necessarily strong shocks.

However, this is also a very good move by the US government. They clung closely to the signs of the mountain, promptly issued a warning to the people - it was necessary to own one of the most powerful volcanoes on the planet.

Moreover, people are not subjective. If the crack is spreading, it is possible that the shock in the mountain is not small, and its ability to explode is possible.
