In Quang Ngai, at 20:00 on the night of November 16, the eroded rock mountain collapsed 3 houses in Son Thanh commune (Son Ha), crushing Dinh Thi Tam (10 years old), 3 others were injured.

Heavy rain caused heavy landslide of provincial road 622B, isolating 18,000 people in the mountainous district of Tay Tra. At present, the provincial road from Tra Bong to Tay Tra has 5 mountain landslides, of which the highest is at km 35 in Tra Lam commune (Tra Bong). Tens of thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil block across the road, causing traffic congestion, completely isolating Tay Tra district.

Mr. Ho Van Di in Tra Phong commune (Tay Tra) went to visit his sick relatives in Tra Xuan town (Tra Bong), but was stuck here due to mountain erosion from the past two days. " The big blocks of rock as big as the hill slipped down all the way, I had to stay with my relatives in Tra Bong for a few more days waiting for the traffic ," Mr. Dit said.

The route from the center of Tay Tra district to the communes is also completely divided by heavy landslides and high river and stream water. More than 450 people in Tra Trung commune lost contact, cut off electricity due to landslides and collapsed electric poles, broken telephone cables.

Talking to VnExpress this morning, Mr. Ho Van Canh, Chairman of Tay Tra District People's Committee worried: 'The most worrisome thing is when an emergency patient is transferred to the higher level, the district health center does not know how to do it, it is very dangerous for patients. In an emergency, the rescue and rescue work in communes in the area face many obstacles due to road congestion '.

The water from the upstream flows to the Rin River continues to rise. At least three days must go to Son Tay district to escape the isolated situation.

Floods flooded from 1.5 to 2 meters deep, separating the traffic mostly from Chau O town to Binh Duong, Binh Minh, Binh Chanh and Binh Thoi communes, Binh Son district. More than 10,000 households in Binh Son, Son Tinh, Nghia Hanh and Tu Nghia districts are submerged in flood waters.

Up to 23h last night, the localities in Quang Ngai province have moved and evacuated more than 3,000 households with more than 11,000 people out of flooded areas, the risk of mountain landslides. At present, Quang Ngai has 3 deaths, one is missing due to the flood.

The water level of Tra Bong river exceeds the alarm 3, the floodwaters run through the highway, nearly a meter, traffic on the 1A route through Chau O town, Quang Ngai, is congested. Different types of cars are lined up in long lines on many roads.
