Millions of people around the world have low sperm count, limiting fertility

The "smart" test set, called Fertell, is used to determine fertility. It can alert potential reproductive incidents with accuracy up to 95%. Fertell has just been sold over the counter in the UK market.

Professor Chris Barratt, University of Birmingham (UK) - author of Fertell, tested products over 150 men and 95% of them received accurate results."Age has a significant impact on fertility, so knowing reliable information early will be an advantage," Barratt said.

Using Fertell is quite simple, all you need to do is give a little semen and start the device. In less than 60 minutes, the device will tell if the sperm count is enough to fertilize an egg.

Fertell works on the principle of forcing sperm to swim through a barrier that mimics a woman's cervix. There, it calculates the amount of sperm that can pass. If the dynamic "sperm" number reaches the minimum required, the test will display a red line to indicate.

To successfully develop this test, the research team has been analyzing more than 3,000 sperm samples. According to experts, Fertell promises a bright future, because it helps the eyebrow whiskers to relieve confusion and inconvenience when going to the hospital.
