Checks can measure alcohol content in a full bottle

After a series of poisonings occurred in the Czech Republic due to the consumption of fake alcohol containing too much toxic methanol, Czech scientists promptly invented new measures that could quickly determine the amount of poison in the map. Alcoholic drinks without opening the bottle.

The team of scientists from the Czech University of Chemical Technology conducted experiments when projecting laser beams into unopened bottles and analyzing images collected on computers.

This allows to reduce the time of liquid quality inspection in bottles, 10 times less than the normal method and the cost is significantly cheaper, about 7-10 USD compared to 15-20 USD before.

This measure is not currently licensed by the Czech Government but the tax authorities are very interested in it.

Furthermore, the liquid analyzer in the unopened bottle has a strong characteristic and can be easily moved from one place to another.

According to the Czech regulations, the amount of methanol in alcoholic beverages must not exceed 12g / liter of pure alcohol, and in 1 liter of 50% vodka alcohol should not exceed 6g methanol.

Earlier this past September, alcohol containing toxic methanol ingredients killed at least 26 Czechs and dozens of others were hospitalized with severe poisoning symptoms, many still in critical condition.
