Chicken causes metastatic breast cancer to die

A nutrient that is abundant in chicken and many other animal proteins makes blocks rapidly spread throughout the body.

Previously, there was evidence that eating red meat related to breast cancer became worse but new research from Cambridge University (UK) showed that white meat is no exception. Chickens, even fish, can also kill patients.

According to scientists, chicken meat is rich in asparagine - an amino acid that acts as the material blocks that cells use to make proteins. It is this asparagine that is the culprit promoting the spread (metastasis) of breast cancer.

Higher studies suggest that patients with less active asparagine genes have a higher survival rate when suffering from breast, kidney, and head and neck cancers.

Scientists also used mice to experiment with a diet that reduces asparagine and found that diet reduced the spread of tumors in the body. This is very important in treatment because most breast cancer patients do not die from the main tumor but die when metastasized to the lungs, brain, bones and other organs.

In addition to chicken, asparagine is also found in many animal proteins, such as beef, other fish meats, seafood and milk. According to the authors, this study may help find the key to increasing breast cancer patients' chances of survival, through dietary changes.
