According to the researchers, this method may allow women with serious genetic diseases to avoid the ability to pass on to their offspring.

The British Human Fertilization and Administration Administration (HFEA) has just launched a public consultation on the method of fertilization, in order to solicit opinions to decide whether women should be assigned this measure. in fact or not, according to the Daily Telegraph.

There are currently two measures under consideration, in which the first involves the intervention of the early stage of the fetus, and the latter measures the treatment of the eggs before fertilization.

In the first therapy, genetic material from the mother is removed from the embryo and placed in a healthy mitochondria from the donor.

The second therapy is similar to early therapy, but is done before fertilization.

Technically, the child will carry the genes of all three people, but the donor's contribution accounts for a small percentage, according to experts.
