On June 23, an electric passenger train named Junlyu made the first trip on the Yangtze River in Wuhan City, the center of Hubei Province.
With a length of 53.2 m and a width of 13.4 m, the Junlyu can carry up to 300 guests at a time. The ship uses a rechargeable lithium battery power and lasts 8 hours when fully charged. Because the engine runs on electricity, it is environmentally friendly and has no emissions.
It is known that the ferries on the Yangtze River have a long history of about 120 years. Currently, local authorities are gradually transforming the form of transportation across the river to become a cultural attraction.
As a cruise ship on the main axis of the Yangtze River in Wuhan City, when sitting on the Junlyu, visitors will enjoy the beauty of both sides of the river in a short trip lasting about an hour.
