China plans to build a $ 1.5 million space park

A Chinese company is investing to build a park in Hangzhou so visitors can experience the feeling of traveling to space.

According to Ibtimes, KuangChi Science announced it would invest 10 million yuan (about US $ 1.5 million) to develop the "Future Valley" park with the goal of giving people an experience of astronauts. out space.

A balloon will pull "spacecraft" carrying people 21km above the ground, above the atmosphere, to simulate a flight into space, meeting the dream of human space.

Currently the company has finished designing the ship. They revealed that it would be similar to the typical enclosed cabin of Shenzhou 5, the missile that brought Chinese astronauts to space for the first time in October 2003.

"Our mission is to develop science and technology to create a future ecosystem , " said KuangChi Science chairman Liu Ruopeng. "Qingshan Lake, where the valley will be built, has a large water surface and ample space to operate the machine."

The passenger ship will have glass windows for sightseeing, a pressure and air conditioning system that will make passengers feel like they are in a limousine. The auxiliary helium tank will be used in an emergency.

To slow down in the process of falling back to Earth, the ship will be equipped with parachutes, as well as an air bag system to stop the vehicle's movement when grounded.

Inside the ship, KuangChi equipped a high-speed computer system with lots of sensors to ensure safety for passengers and help the crew control the ship.

On the ground there are also futuristic technology experience rooms like furniture with artificial intelligence that can move on their own, even configuring themselves to form new patterns.

However, to ensure absolute safety, KuangChi needs to ensure the ship is durable enough to carry out many flights, which most designs currently do not take into account, from the Orion ship by the Vu Aviation Authority. US cylinder (NASA) and Lockheed Martin company designed, can be used for 10 flights. If not, the cost of a disposable boat will be very expensive.

KuangChi expects the first flight time to be in late 2017, and will invite about 3,000 scientists from more than 40 countries to study at the park when opening.
