The two astronauts Canh Hai Bang and Tran Dong had to undergo medical tests before leaving the cabin. Mr. Zhang Youxia, the commander, said they were in good health.

"The mission on the Thien Cung 2 space station and the Than Chau 11 spacecraft successfully ended," Zhang said.

Two astronauts spent 30 days on the Thien Cung 2 space station to conduct experiments to prepare for China's plan to build a fixed manned space station by 2020. The Thien Cung 2 space station will continue to stay in orbit and prepare for the next connection with Tianzhou 1, China's first cargo spacecraft, in April next year.
