Difficulty in capital

Meanwhile, the medium and long-term capital market of Vietnam has not developed yet, has no impact on supporting businesses. Some current regulations on loans still have many shortcomings or high interest rates, so it is difficult for private enterprises to reach.

Mr. Pham Hong Hiep, Institute of Industrial Strategy and Policy, Ministry of Industry and Trade said that, besides the lack of capital, Vietnamese enterprises lack of information and human resources. These are the 3 main factors that make the process of technological innovation high risk.

Representatives of the Association of Small and Medium Business Women Hanoi shares that many enterprises producing textiles, soft drinks, ceramics, food processing . are industries with a large amount of waste which is harmful to the environment. Enterprises themselves want to invest in technology innovation, live in clean production, but it is always a dream because the budget is too big.

Need a multi-dimensional combination

According to Pham Hong Hiep - Institute of Industrial Strategy and Policy, in addition to 3 main factors that inhibit technological innovation are capital, information and human resources. Besides, there is a particularly important but less noticeable factor. It is the implementation of regulations on environmental protection that are not yet strict and incomplete in localities, leading to the situation of obsolete old technologies that pollute the environment and not only exist but also continue to be visited enter Vietnam.

Representatives of Small and Medium Enterprises Association Hanoi also said that in order to have a clean technology production base, it would require huge capital. Businesses are looking forward to receiving help from agencies, departments, branches .
